How do I copy only the summary results without copying hidden detail rows?
- Complete the categorical summary and collapse the outline to the level you want to copy.
- Press Ctrl+G to open Go To.
- Choose Visible cells only in the special selection options.
- Copy the selected content to copy only the visible summary results.
Why is the Categorical Summary button unavailable or why are the results incorrect?
- Check whether the data range is a continuous rectangular area.
- Make sure the first row is a proper header row.
- Check for blank rows, blank columns, or merged cells in the data range.
- Select any cell inside the data range again and reopen Categorical Summary.
