1. Set New Mail Notifications
Entry: Mail page → Settings button in the upper-right corner → Notification Settings → New Mail Notification Settings toggle
- On the Mail page, click the Settings button in the upper-right corner.
- In the left-side menu, click Notification Settings.
- Turn on New Mail Notification Settings.
- Select the notification scope: All Folders or Inbox Only.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New Mail Notification Settings is shown as enabled.
- Next action available: You can continue switching the notification scope or return to the Mail page.
Tips While Using
- If you do not receive system alerts, check whether macOS allows WPS to send notifications.
- After you choose Inbox Only, new messages in other folders will not follow this notification rule.
2. Set Daily Unread Mail Reminders
Entry: Mail page → Settings button in the upper-right corner → Notification Settings → Daily Unread Mail Reminder toggle
- On the Mail page, click the Settings button in the upper-right corner.
- In the left-side menu, click Notification Settings.
- Turn on Daily Unread Mail Reminder.
- Set the daily reminder time as needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Daily Unread Mail Reminder is shown as enabled.
- Next action available: You can adjust the reminder time and keep the current settings.
Tips While Using
- A daily unread mail reminder summarizes unread messages and is different from a real-time new mail alert.
- To reduce interruptions, you can keep only the daily unread reminder on and turn off new mail notifications.
