How-to Guide

1. Add a sender to the blacklist from the message list

Entry path: Message list page → Right-click menu → Add to Blacklist

  1. In the message list, right-click the email you want to manage.
  2. In the shortcut menu, select Add to Blacklist.
  3. In the confirmation dialog box, click Confirm.
  4. That sender address is added to the blacklist, and future messages from that sender are moved to the Junk folder automatically.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: After confirmation, the sender no longer needs to be blocked again through the same quick action.
  • What you can do next: You can review or maintain the address later in the blacklist list under Mail Settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Make sure you right-click the correct message so you do not blacklist the wrong sender.
  • Environment note: This method adds the sender address from the current message. Use Mail Settings if you need to enter another address or a domain manually.

2. Add a blacklist entry from Mail Settings

Entry path: Mail Settings → Blacklist → Add

  1. Click Mail Settings at the bottom of the left navigation pane.
  2. In the left menu, select the Blacklist tab.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Add Blacklist dialog box, enter an email address or domain.
  5. Click OK to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new address or domain appears in the blacklist list.
  • What you can do next: Future messages from that address or domain are handled by the blacklist rule.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Check the domain format carefully so you do not enter extra or unrelated characters.
  • Environment note: You need to be signed in to a mail account and able to open Mail Settings.

3. Add a whitelist entry from Mail Settings

Entry path: Mail Settings → Whitelist → Add

  1. Click Mail Settings at the bottom of the left navigation pane.
  2. In the left menu, select the Whitelist tab.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Add Whitelist dialog box, enter an email address or domain.
  5. Click OK to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new address or domain appears in the whitelist list.
  • What you can do next: Future messages from that address or domain are not treated as junk mail.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Confirm that the address or domain belongs to a sender you want to keep, so unrelated sources are not added by mistake.
  • Environment note: If you need to enter another address or domain manually, use Mail Settings instead of the right-click action in the message list.
