When using WPS Black and White List, the most common questions are about rule results, domain-based rules, and recovering from accidental blocking. This FAQ covers 3 frequent questions.
FAQ
Where do emails go after I add a sender to the blacklist?
- After a sender is added to the blacklist, later messages from that sender are handled by the blocking rule.
- In this feature flow, messages are automatically moved to the Junk folder after the sender is added to the blacklist.
- Open the Junk folder if you want to confirm that the rule is working as expected.
If I add a domain to the allowlist, will all emails from that domain be received?
- After a domain is added to the allowlist, email addresses under that domain are handled by the allowlist rule.
- For example, after adding
@company.com, mail from that domain should not be stopped by junk filtering in this feature flow. - If delivery still looks abnormal, check whether the domain format is correct and whether mailbox sync has completed.
What should I do if I accidentally add a contact to the blacklist?
- Open Mail settings → Mail settings → Black/White List.
- Go to the Blacklist tab and find the email address or domain.
- Click Delete next to that entry to remove it and restore normal mail delivery.
