Can I delete system folders?

  1. System folders such as Inbox and Sent are default folders.
  2. These folders cannot be deleted.
  3. If you need better organization, create and use custom folders instead.

Will deleting a custom folder also delete the emails inside it?

  1. Before deleting a custom folder, check whether it still contains messages you need to keep.
  2. Deleting a custom folder also deletes the mail data inside that folder.
  3. It is recommended to move important emails first and then delete the folder.

Why can’t I find the folder I need?

  1. First confirm that you have opened the Mail page and signed in to your account.
  2. Check the My Folders and Labels sections at the bottom of the left navigation pane.
  3. If the folder still does not appear, refresh your network connection and open the Mail page again.

Glossary

TermDefinition
