FAQ

How do I insert footnotes in WPS on Android?

  1. Tap the place in the document where you want to add the footnote.
  2. Tap Tools, then open the Insert tab.
  3. Tap Footnote, then enter the note content at the bottom of the page.

Why does tapping a footnote marker jump to the bottom of the page?

  1. Each footnote marker in the main text corresponds to a note at the bottom of the page.
  2. When you tap the marker, the document moves to the matching footnote location.
  3. After reading the note, you can return to the main text and continue reading.

What is the difference between a footnote and an endnote?

  1. A footnote usually appears at the bottom of the current page.
  2. An endnote usually appears at the end of a document or section.
  3. If you want readers to check notes while reading, footnotes are often more convenient. If you want notes collected in one place, endnotes may fit better.
