FAQ

Why are my edits not showing as revision marks?

  1. Check whether Revision is already turned on in the Review tab.
  2. If it is off, turn it on before continuing to edit.
  3. Edits made before Revision was enabled are not added retroactively.

How can I process many revisions at once?

  1. Open the Review tab and enter Revision Settings.
  2. Use the available options under Accept Revisions or Reject Revisions to process multiple revisions.
  3. After that, check whether any revisions still remain in the document.

Why can’t I open Revision Settings?

  1. Check whether the document already contains revision content.
  2. If there are no revisions yet, turn Revision on and make at least one edit first.
  3. Then return to the Review tab and open Revision Settings again.

Can other collaborators see my revisions in collaboration mode?

  1. In collaboration scenarios, revision marks can be visible to collaborators.
  2. If you want a more consistent reading view, use the sync option in Revision Status when available.
  3. Before finalizing the document, let the document owner review accept or reject decisions together.
