  3. Click Repeating Section Content Control.
  4. The control is inserted at the current position in the document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new repeating section control area appears in the document.
  • What you can do next: You can continue adding text or other content controls inside the section.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not enter Design Mode first, it may be less convenient to continue configuring the content inside the section.
  • Environment note: The Developer-related entry needs to be visible in WPS Writer.

2. Add Content Inside a Repeating Section

Feature path: Developer → Design Mode

  1. Enter Design Mode.
  2. Add the text or content controls that should repeat inside the section.
  3. Set the section layout and formatting.
  4. Exit Design Mode when finished.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The repeating section shows the prepared content and layout.
  • What you can do next: After you exit Design Mode, you can test adding another section.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you start using the section before the content design is complete, new sections may not contain the structure you expect.

3. Use the Repeating Section

Feature path: Add button on the repeating section

  1. Exit Design Mode.
  2. Click the "+" button on the repeating section to add a new section.
  3. To remove a section, select the extra section and press Delete twice.
  4. Fill in each section separately.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The document can contain multiple sections with the same structure.
  • What you can do next: Each section can be filled in independently.
  • No side effect: Existing section content remains separate.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you test section insertion while still in Design Mode, the fill-in workflow may not behave as expected.
