1. Configure AD Sync

Entry: Admin Console → Directory → Directory Sync → AD Connector

  1. Open the WPS365 client and enter Admin Console from the lower-left area of the home page.
  2. In the left panel, click Directory.
  3. Click Directory Sync in the expanded list.
  4. Select AD Connector mode.
  5. Download WPS365AD Connector to get the AD configuration details and app information.
  6. Use the APP ID and APP Secret to configure synchronization for the enterprise organizational structure.
  7. Set the IP allowlist as needed so only approved AD connectors can push directory data.
  8. Click Test Connection and Save to enable synchronization and run the test automatically.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The AD connector configuration is saved and a connection test result is shown.
  • Next action available: You can continue to add sync objects or review sync status.

2. Manage Sync Objects

Entry: AD Connector page → Add Sync Object

  1. After configuring the AD connector, click Add Sync Object.

  3. Manage the AD domain connection details, including push data status, authorization scope, WPS 365 sync scope, and field mapping.
  4. Click Test Connection to verify that the current configuration works correctly.
  5. Click Create to enable automatic sync. If you need to start over, click Reset to clear the current input and configured policies.
