1. Configure auto-upload policies

Entry: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → File Auto Upload

  1. Open the WPS 365 client, and on the home page click Admin Console in the lower-left area.
  2. In the left panel, click Security Control.
  3. In the expanded list, click Document Security.
  4. Click File Auto Upload to open the auto-upload configuration page.
  5. Switch between WPS Office, WPS Collaboration, and WPS Mail, then choose the needed rule for each one: Forced Sync, Disable Auto Sync, Default Sync, or Default No Sync.
  6. Click Save to apply the configuration.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The sync rule for the selected product line is saved.
  • Next step available: You can continue to Settings or Whitelist for more detailed control.

Tips While Using

  • You need permission to access the admin console.
  • Before saving, confirm that each product line uses the intended rule.

2. Set upload file types

Entry: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → File Auto Upload → Settings

  1. Open the File Auto Upload configuration page.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. In Upload File Types, manage the file types that should be uploaded automatically.
  4. Save the settings.

3. Set member scope

Entry: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → File Auto Upload → Settings

  1. Open the File Auto Upload configuration page.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. In Member Scope, select the members affected by the rule.
  4. Save the settings.

  • Interface result: The member scope is updated and shown in the rule configuration.

4. Manage the whitelist

Entry: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → File Auto Upload → Whitelist

  3. Click Add to include users who should be exempt from the auto-upload rule.
  4. If needed, use Remove or Batch Remove to delete whitelist users.
  5. Save the settings.
