1. Create a Kanban View

Entry: Data table → “+” icon → Kanban View

  1. Open the target multidimensional table.
  2. Click the “+” icon on the right side of the data table.
  3. Select Kanban View.
  4. After the new view is created, open the board and review the card columns.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new Kanban view tab appears in the data table.
  • What you can do next: You can continue to set the grouping field or manage card display.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you choose another view type, the interface will not display card columns.
  • Environment note: You need an editable multidimensional table first.

2. Set the Grouping Field for a Kanban View

Entry: Kanban View → Group By

  1. Open any existing Kanban view.
  2. Click Group By in the top area.
  3. Select an existing field as the grouping field, or add a new grouping field.
  4. Check whether the cards are rearranged into columns based on the new field values.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The board columns are rearranged by the selected field.
  • What you can do next: You can continue checking how cards are distributed across columns.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Records without a value in the selected field will not appear in the expected column.
  • Environment note: Records without a grouping value appear in the Ungrouped column.

3. Manage Card Covers and Cover Effects

Entry: Kanban View → Card Management

  1. Open the target Kanban view.
  2. Click Card Management.
  3. Set the card cover.
  4. Adjust the cover effect as needed, then return to the board to review the result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The card cover or cover effect changes.
  • What you can do next: You can continue browsing or adjusting other card display settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in a Kanban view, you may not see the Card Management entry directly.
  • Environment note: Card display results depend on the content currently shown in the view.
