1. Create a Gantt View
Entry: Data table → “+” icon → Gantt View
- Open the target table.
- Click the “+” icon on the right side of the data table.
- Select Gantt View.
- Click Gantt Configuration to continue setting date fields.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a new Gantt View tab or view area appears in the table.
- Next action available: you can open Gantt configuration and continue setting date fields.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you are not in the intended table, the new view will be added elsewhere.
- Environment note: you need an existing table before adding the view.
2. Configure Gantt date fields
Entry: Gantt View → Gantt Configuration
- Open the Gantt View you created.
- Click Gantt Configuration.
- Select the Start Date Field.
- Select the End Date Field.
- Confirm that both fields are date-type fields, then check whether the task bars display correctly.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: task bars appear in the Gantt View based on the selected date range.
- Next action available: you can continue checking whether each record shows the correct time span.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if the selected fields are not date-type fields, the Gantt chart will not render as expected.
- Environment note: the start date should be earlier than the end date, or the bar will not display.
