1. Add Grouping

Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Group → Add grouping condition

  1. Open the table view.
  2. Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
  3. Select Group in the pop-up window.
  4. Tap Add grouping condition.
  5. Select the field you want to group by.
  6. Tap Confirm to finish the setup.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Group headers appear in the table based on field values.
  • Next action available: You can continue to expand, collapse, or remove the grouping condition.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in table view, the grouping entry may not appear.

2. Expand or Collapse Groups

Entry path: Tap the expand or collapse icon to the left of a group header

  1. After grouping is applied, find the group header you want to review.
  2. Tap the expand or collapse icon on the left side of the header.
  3. When collapsed, only the group header remains visible.
  4. When expanded, all records in that group are shown again.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Records under a group header can switch between visible and hidden states.
  • Next action available: You can continue to change the state of other groups.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Tapping the record area instead of the group icon will not expand or collapse the group.

3. Remove Grouping

Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Group → Existing grouping condition → Delete

  1. Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
  2. Select Group.
  3. Find the grouping condition that has already been added.
  4. Tap the delete icon next to that condition.
  5. After deletion, the records return to the default display order.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Group headers disappear and the table returns to its default display.
  • Next action available: You can add a different grouping condition again.
