1. Add a Group
Entry: Bottom toolbar > Tools > Group > Add Grouping Condition
- Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
- Select Group in the panel.
- Tap Add Grouping Condition.
- Select the field you want to use for grouping.
- Choose the sort order after grouping, such as option order or reverse option order.
- Tap Confirm to finish.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: the table is displayed in a grouped structure based on the selected field.
- Next action available: you can continue adding more grouping conditions for layered grouping.
Tips While Using
- You can add multiple grouping conditions in sequence for more detailed organization.
- Grouping changes the display structure and does not directly change the raw data content.
- In collaborative tables, other collaborators can see the grouping state.
2. Remove a Group
Entry: Bottom toolbar > Tools > Group > Delete
- Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
- Select Group to open the grouping panel.
- Find the grouping condition you want to remove.
- Tap Delete next to that grouping condition.
- Return to the table and review the updated view.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: the selected grouping condition is removed, and the table shows fewer grouped levels or a regular view.
- Next action available: you can add a new grouping condition again or continue editing the table.
Tips While Using
- Removing grouping does not delete any records in the table.
- If multiple grouping conditions are set, you can remove them one by one as needed.
