How-to Guide
1. Export to Online Spreadsheet
Entry path: Data Table → More Actions → Export Data → Spreadsheet (xlsx) → Online Spreadsheet
- Open the target database and select the table view you want to export from the left toolbar.
- Click the More Actions button on the right side of the table view.
- Select Export Data.
- Select Spreadsheet (xlsx).
- Select Online Spreadsheet.
- Wait for the export to finish. The generated file is saved to My Cloud Documents by default.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: After the task finishes, the generated online spreadsheet appears in My Cloud Documents.
- What you can do next: You can open the online spreadsheet to view, edit, or share it.
Tips While Using
- The exported result is saved to My Cloud Documents by default.
- The export follows the current view, so hidden records are not included.
2. Export to Local Spreadsheet
Entry path: Data Table → More Actions → Export Data → Spreadsheet (xlsx) → Local Spreadsheet
- Open the target database and select the table view you want to export from the left toolbar.
- Click the More Actions button on the right side of the table view.
- Select Export Data.
- Select Spreadsheet (xlsx).
- Select Local Spreadsheet.
- Save the generated
.xlsxfile to a local location as prompted.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The exported
.xlsxfile appears in the local save location. - What you can do next: You can open the file in WPS Spreadsheet or another tool that supports the format.
Tips While Using
- The export result contains visible records from the current view.
- If you need a narrower field range, hide unnecessary columns before exporting.
3. Export to ZIP Package
Entry path: Data Table → More Actions → Export Data → ZIP Package
- Open the target database and select the table view you want to export from the left toolbar.
- Click the More Actions button on the right side of the table view.
- Select Export Data.
- Select ZIP Package.
- Wait for the ZIP file to be generated and save it to the target location.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The exported ZIP file appears in the local save location.
- What you can do next: After extraction, you can review the table data together with included attachment files.
Tips While Using
- When the table contains attachment fields, ZIP export is more suitable for complete archiving.
- Large tables may take longer to export, so wait for the task to finish.
