Why can’t I see the field I want?

Should I place the PivotTable in a new worksheet or an existing worksheet?

  1. Choose New Worksheet if you want the summary separate from the source data.
  2. Choose Existing Worksheet if you want the result near the current sheet content.
  3. Before using an existing worksheet, make sure the target area has enough empty space.

What should I do if the result does not look right after dragging fields?

  1. Check whether numeric fields are placed in the Data area.
