What is the difference between one-way linking and two-way linking?

  1. One-way linking shows the linked field only in the current table and is used to reference data from the target table.
  2. Two-way linking creates linked fields in both the current table and the target table so the relationship can be viewed from both sides.
  3. If you only need to maintain the reference in the current table, one-way linked fields are usually the better fit.

Why can’t I select the target record in a cell?

  1. Open Field Settings first and confirm that the correct target table has been selected.
  2. Check whether the linked record range limits the available data.
  3. If the field allows multiple linked records, also confirm that the current setting matches your actual selection needs.

What should I do if automatic matching does not show the expected result?

  1. Open Field Settings and confirm that the linking method is set to Automatic Matching.
  2. Check again whether the matching conditions are consistent with the record values in the target table.
  3. Save the settings and review whether eligible records have been linked automatically.
