FAQ

What is the difference between a contact field and a collaborator field?

  1. A contact field is mainly used to mark contacts or notification targets in a record.
  2. A collaborator field is more focused on document collaboration permissions.
  3. If you only need to mark owners, project contacts, or notification targets in a multidimensional table, the contact field is usually the better fit.

Will notifications still be sent after I remove a contact?

  1. If a notification flow depends on the contact field, removing the contact changes the notification target.
  2. Check whether an automation or notification rule references that field before you remove the contact.
  3. If notifications still need to be sent, assign another contact after removal.

Can a contact field contain multiple people in one cell?

  1. Yes.
  2. After you click a contact field cell, you can keep searching for and adding multiple contacts.
  3. When you finish, all selected contacts appear together in the same cell.
