How-to Guide

1. Create a Date Field

Entry point: Tap the column header → Edit → Field Type → Date

  1. Tap the target column header.
  2. In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
  3. In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
  4. Select Date.
  5. Set the date format you need, such as 2026/01/01 or 2026-01-01.
  6. If needed, turn on Show Weekday.
  7. If needed, turn on Show Time so the field can record HH:MM.
  8. Enter the field name and tap Confirm to finish.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: a new date field column appears in the table.
  • What you can do next: you can start entering date values in that field.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not enter the column editing view first, you cannot change the field type.
  • Tip: if you need exact times, turn on Show Time when creating the field.

2. Enter a Date

Entry point: Tap the target cell → select the date field → choose a date

  1. Tap the target cell to open the record details view.
  2. Tap the Date field.
  3. Select the date you need in the date picker.
  4. If Show Time is enabled for the field, continue by selecting a specific time.
  5. Tap Confirm in the upper-right corner to finish.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: the selected date appears in the cell or record details view.
  • What you can do next: you can continue editing other fields in the same record.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not tap Confirm, the change may not be saved.
  • Tip: if you only need the date, turn off Show Time to reduce input steps.
