1. Create a Date field
Entry point: Tap the column header → Edit → Field Type → Date
- Tap the target column header.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
- In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
- Select Date.
- Set the date format you want, such as 2026/01/01 or 2026-01-01.
- If needed, turn on Show weekday or Show time.
- Set the field name, then tap OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Date field column appears in the table.
- What you can do next: You can continue entering date values in this field.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter the field editing window first, you cannot switch the field type.
- Environment note: You need edit permission for the current Smart Table.
2. Enter a date value
Entry point: Tap the target cell → Record details → Date field
- Tap the cell you want to fill in.
- In the record details panel, tap the Date field.
- Select the date you want to enter.
- If time display is enabled for the field, select a specific time as needed.
- Tap OK in the upper-right corner to save.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The cell shows the selected date value.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing other fields in the same record.
