1. Insert a date from the toolbar
Entry path: Edit button at the lower right → “+” icon on the bottom toolbar → “Date”
- Open a Smart Document and tap the Edit button at the lower right.
- Tap the paragraph position where you want to add the date.
- Tap the + icon on the bottom toolbar.
- Tap Date.
- Select the date and tap Save.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the selected date appears at the current cursor position.
- Next action: you can continue editing the document or insert other content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you have not entered editing mode first, the full bottom editing toolbar may not appear.
- Environment note: open a Smart Document first and place the cursor where the date should be inserted.
2. Add a specific time when inserting a date
Entry path: Edit button at the lower right → “+” icon on the bottom toolbar → “Date”
- Open the date picker from the Insert Date path.
- Select the date you want to insert.
- Turn on Set Time.
- Select the specific time.
- Tap Save.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the inserted content shows both date and time.
- Next action: you can tap the inserted date content again and continue adjusting it.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you choose only a date and do not set a time, the inserted result may not include hours and minutes.
