1. Create a date field
Entry path: Tap the header → Edit → Field Type → Date
- Tap the header you want to configure.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
- In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
- Select Date.
- Set the field format as needed, including the date display format, whether to show the weekday, and whether to show time.
- Enter the field name.
- Tap OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The header shows the new date field name.
- What you can do next: Tap a record under this field to open the date picker.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter header editing first, you may not see the field type settings.
- Environment note: You need permission to edit fields in the current data table.
2. Enter a date
Entry path: Tap the target cell → Open record details → Tap the date field
- Tap the target cell to open the record details.
- Tap the Date field you want to fill in.
- Select a date in the date picker.
- If time display is enabled for the field, continue by selecting the time.
- Tap OK in the upper-right corner to save the setting.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The record shows the selected date. If related options are enabled, the weekday or time is also shown.
- What you can do next: Continue editing other fields or return to the data table to review the result.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you select a date but do not tap OK, the result may not be saved.
