1. Create a field
Entry: + on the right side of the table header → Cascading Options
- Click the
+button on the right side of the table header. - Select the
Cascading Optionsfield type from the field list. - Enter the field name.
- Click
OKto finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a new Cascading Options Field column appears in the table.
- What you can do next: you can right-click the field title and continue to field settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you choose the wrong field type, delete it and create the correct one again.
- Environment note: this action requires an editable table.
2. Set cascading option content
Entry: right-click the field title → Field Settings → Edit Options
- Right-click the title of the Cascading Options Field.
- Select
Field Settings. - Click
Edit Options. - In the editing window, adjust the first-level, second-level, and third-level option titles.
- Click
+ Add OptionorBatch Editas needed to add options. - Click
OKto save the changes.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the multi-level option content is updated in field settings.
- What you can do next: you can return to the table and select options level by level in cells.
