Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you skip title planning first, later option maintenance becomes harder to identify.
- Environment note: A Cascading Options Field supports up to three linked levels.
3. Add or Batch Edit Options
Entry: Right-click the field title → Field Settings → Edit Options
- Open the Edit Options window from the same entry.
- Click + Add Option under the target level to add content.
- If you need to maintain multiple options at once, click Batch Edit.
- After adjusting the option content for each level, click OK.
- Return to the table and test the linked result between higher-level and lower-level options.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: After you choose a higher-level option, lower-level options are filtered according to the setup.
- Next action available: The field can be used directly in records for hierarchical data entry.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Adding only parent options without lower-level content leads to incomplete linked results.
- Environment note: Test the full linked path in the table right after editing.
