  • Environment note: You need edit permission for the current data table.

  1. Right-click the title of the Cascading Options Field.
  2. Select Field Settings.
  3. Click Edit Options.

Success Criteria

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you skip title planning first, later option maintenance becomes harder to identify.
  • Environment note: A Cascading Options Field supports up to three linked levels.

3. Add or Batch Edit Options

Entry: Right-click the field title → Field Settings → Edit Options

  1. Open the Edit Options window from the same entry.
  2. Click + Add Option under the target level to add content.
  3. If you need to maintain multiple options at once, click Batch Edit.
  4. After adjusting the option content for each level, click OK.
  5. Return to the table and test the linked result between higher-level and lower-level options.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: After you choose a higher-level option, lower-level options are filtered according to the setup.
  • Next action available: The field can be used directly in records for hierarchical data entry.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Adding only parent options without lower-level content leads to incomplete linked results.
  • Environment note: Test the full linked path in the table right after editing.
