  1. Right-click the title of the Cascading Options field.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The field settings show a configured multi-level option structure.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If parent options are not set first, the child-option structure may be incomplete.

3. Enter data by level

Entry: Click a cell in the Cascading Options field

  1. Click the target cell in the Cascading Options field for the record you want to edit.

  3. Based on that selection, choose the matching level-2 option.
  4. If level-3 options are configured, continue by choosing the matching level-3 value.
  5. Check the final displayed result after the selection is complete.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Lower-level options change automatically after the upper-level selection.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing other fields in the current record or save the data.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the parent option is selected incorrectly, the available child options will also change, so go back and reselect the upper level.
  • Environment note: Only configured hierarchy content appears in the dropdown choices.
