How-to Guide
1. Add Advanced Fields
Entry path: Table view → Tap a header → Edit → Field Type
- Open a multidimensional table.
- Tap the header you want to configure.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
- Tap Field Type to view available advanced field types.
- Select the field type you need and save the setting.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Advanced field options are visible in the field type list.
- Next action available: After saving, the new field appears in the current table.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not tap a header first, you cannot enter the field editing flow.
- Environment note: You need permission to edit fields in the current table.
2. Add an ID Field
Entry path: Table view → Tap a header → Edit → Field Type → ID
- Open the target table and tap the header to configure.
- Open the Edit panel.
- In Field Type, select ID.
- Set the numbering rule if needed.
- Save the field.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The field type is shown as ID.
- Next action available: Records generate numbers automatically in that field.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you use a normal text field instead of an ID field, numbering will not be generated automatically.
3. Add People Fields
Entry path: Table view → Tap a header → Edit → Field Type → Created By / Last Modified By
- Tap the target header and open Edit.
- Open the Field Type list.
- Select Created By or Last Modified By.
- Save the field and return to the table.
- Check the automatically filled result in records.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The field column shows the creator or latest editor information.
- Next action available: After a record is added or updated, the field value updates automatically.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Manually typing a person name does not replace the automatic field logic.
- Environment note: In collaboration, the result changes according to the actual creator or editor.
4. Add Time Fields
Entry path: Table view → Tap a header → Edit → Field Type → Created Time / Last Modified Time
- Tap the header you want to configure.
- Open Edit and then Field Type.
- Select Created Time or Last Modified Time.
- Save the field setting.
- Return to the table and review the recorded time value.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The field column shows the record creation time or latest modification time.
- Next action available: After a record is edited, the Last Modified Time value updates.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Advanced time fields are not intended for manually entering fixed dates.
- Environment note: These time fields are maintained automatically and cannot be edited manually.
