1. Find the Advanced Fields area

Entry path: Click + to add a field → open the Field Type list → find the Advanced Fields area

  1. Open the multi-dimensional table you want to edit.
  2. Click the + button in the table toolbar to add a field.
  3. Open the field type drop-down list.
  4. Find the Advanced Fields area in the list.
  5. Confirm that the available advanced field types are shown.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Advanced Fields area is visible in the field type list.
  • Next action available: You can select one of the advanced field types and continue.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the table is not editable, the add-field entry may not appear.
  • Environment note: A stable network connection is recommended for multi-dimensional table work.

2. Add a two-way relation field

Entry path: Add field → Field Type → Advanced Fields → Two-way Relation

  1. Open the target multi-dimensional table and click to add a field.
  2. Open the field type list and go to the Advanced Fields area.
  3. Select Two-way Relation.
  4. Choose the other table you want to connect.
  5. Save the field settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new two-way relation field appears in the current table.
  • Next action available: You can select records from the related table and see the matching relation from both sides.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the related table is not prepared first, setup may not be completed.
  • Environment note: Two-way relations usually require two available tables.

3. Add a one-way relation field

Entry path: Add field → Field Type → Advanced Fields → One-way Relation

  1. In the multi-dimensional table, click to add a field.
  2. Open the field type drop-down list.
  3. In the Advanced Fields area, select One-way Relation.
  4. Choose the target table to relate to.
  5. Finish creating the field.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new one-way relation field appears in the current table.
  • Next action available: You can relate records from the current table to the target table.

  • Common mistake: Two-way and one-way relations serve different needs, so confirm the workflow before adding the field.

4. Add a lookup field

Entry path: Add field → Field Type → Advanced Fields → Lookup

  1. Make sure the current table already contains a relation field.
  2. Click to add a field and open the field type list.
  3. In the Advanced Fields area, select Lookup.
  4. Choose the relation source field.
  5. Select the target field to pull and save the setting.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new lookup field appears in the current table.
  • Next action available: Selected values from the related table can be displayed in the current table.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no relation field exists first, the lookup field cannot return the expected values.

5. Add a statistic field

Entry path: Add field → Field Type → Advanced Fields → Statistic

  1. In the table where you want summary results, click to add a field.
  2. Open the field type drop-down list.
  3. In the Advanced Fields area, select Statistic.
  4. Choose the related data range used for the summary.
  5. Set the summary method and save.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new statistic field appears in the current table.
  • Next action available: You can review summary results for related data.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Summary results depend on related data, so confirm that the relation is already set up.

6. Add an auto-record field

Entry path: Add field → Field Type → Advanced Fields → choose ID, Created by, Last edited by, Created time, or Last edited time

  1. Click to add a field.
  2. Open the field type list and go to the Advanced Fields area.
  3. Select the auto-record field type you need, such as ID, Created by, or Created time.
  4. Complete the field settings as needed.
  5. Save the field and start adding or editing records.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected auto-record field is added to the table.
  • Next action available: After records are added or edited, the field shows automatically generated or updated information.

  • Common mistake: Auto-record fields are mainly for tracking, so they do not need repeated manual entry.
