1. Add a table component to a dashboard

Entry: Dashboard interface → “+ Add Component” → View → “Table”

  1. Open the dashboard you want to edit.
  2. Click “+ Add Component” in the upper-left area.
  3. In the component panel, find “Table” under the View category.
  4. Click “Table” to create a default table component.
  5. Select the new component to continue editing or configuration.

Success Criteria

  • A new table component appears in the dashboard.
  • You can continue to open the component menu or configuration panel.

Tips While Using

  • Make sure you are editing the correct dashboard before adding a component.
  • Keep a network connection if the dashboard depends on synced online data.

2. Edit or delete a table component

Entry: Select an existing table component → click the “...” icon in the upper-right corner

  1. Select the table component in the dashboard.
  2. Click the “...” icon in the upper-right corner of the component.
  3. Choose Configure, Duplicate, or Delete from the menu.
  4. If you choose Configure, continue in the settings panel. If you choose Duplicate or Delete, confirm the result on the dashboard.

Success Criteria

  • The component menu opens and shows actions such as Configure, Duplicate, and Delete.
  • You can continue editing the component or complete the duplicate or delete action.
  • The original component remains unchanged until you confirm a delete action.

Tips While Using

  • Clicking outside the component can close the menu.
  • Check whether the component is still needed by collaborators before deleting it.

3. Configure table display settings

Entry: Table component → configuration panel

  1. Open the configuration panel for the table component.
  2. Choose the data source you want to display.
  3. Set record filters to limit which records appear.
  4. Select the fields that should be shown in the table.
  5. Adjust sorting, grouping, and row height as needed.
  6. Review the result in the preview area.
  7. Click “OK” to apply the settings.

Success Criteria

  • The table updates according to the selected data source and display settings.
  • You can reopen the panel and adjust the settings again.
  • The final display is not updated until you confirm the changes.

Tips While Using

  • Showing too many fields can reduce readability.
  • If the source data changes, the displayed table result can change as well.
