1. Add a Countdown Widget

Entry: Dashboard → "+ Add Widget" → Other → "Countdown"

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Click "+ Add Widget" in the upper-left area.
  3. Open the "Other" category in the widget panel.
  4. Click the "Countdown" icon to generate a new countdown widget automatically.
  5. Click the widget to enter edit mode and continue with configuration.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new Countdown widget appears in the dashboard.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing the widget settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in the dashboard, the widget entry may not be visible.

2. Manage a Countdown Widget

Entry: Click an existing Countdown widget → the "..." icon in the upper-right corner

  1. Click an existing Countdown widget in the dashboard.
  2. Click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner of the widget.
  3. Select Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete from the menu as needed.
  4. Complete the follow-up action for the option you selected.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The upper-right menu opens and shows the available actions.
  • Next action available: You can reconfigure, copy, export, or delete the widget.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the widget is not selected first, the menu may not appear.

3. Set Type and Data

Entry: Countdown edit panel → "Type and Data" tab

  1. Open the edit panel for the Countdown widget.
  2. Go to the "Type and Data" tab.
  3. Enter a name in the Description field.
  4. Switch the counting method between "Custom Value" and "Select Field".
  5. Set the date, time, units, and other related options as needed.
  6. Check the preview on the left, then click "OK" to apply the settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The preview area shows the updated countdown effect.
  • Next action available: After you click "OK," the widget displays the new settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you close the panel without clicking "OK," your final changes may not be kept.

4. Adjust Chart Style

Entry: Countdown edit panel → "Chart Style" tab

  1. Open the edit panel for the Countdown widget.
  2. Go to the "Chart Style" tab.
  3. Choose a preset color scheme for the time blocks, or open more color options.
  4. Set the description text color and number color as needed.
  5. Preview the result, then click "OK" to apply the style.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Countdown widget updates with the new color style.
  • Next action available: You can continue copying, exporting, or editing the widget.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Low color contrast can make the numbers and description harder to read.
