This FAQ covers 3 common questions about choosing an entry method, restoring deleted records, and adding multiple records in sequence, plus a short glossary for key terms.
FAQ
What is the difference between the two ways to add a record?
- The top
+ Add Recordbutton opens a details panel on the right, which is better for records with many fields. - The bottom
+button adds a blank row directly in the table, which is better for quick entry. - If speed matters more, use the bottom entry method. If field completeness matters more, use the panel.
Can I restore a record after deleting it by mistake?
- Yes. If the deletion just happened, use Undo right away.
- On Windows, a common shortcut is Ctrl+Z.
- If the table is shared, restoring the row quickly can help reduce follow-up data differences.
Can I add multiple records in sequence?
- Yes. When you use the top
+ Add Recordentry point, you can enableContinue adding after submit. - After you submit one record, the panel stays open for the next one.
- If you prefer direct table entry, you can also keep adding rows from the bottom and fill them one after another.
