1. Choose the trigger condition

Entry path: upper-right area of the table → Automation → Create Blank Workflow → choose trigger type → Reach Specified Time in Record

  1. Open the target Bitable and click Automation in the upper-right area of the table.
  2. Click Create Blank Workflow.
  3. In Step 1, under If the following happens, click Please select a trigger condition.
  4. In the trigger list, select Reach Specified Time in Record.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the current workflow shows Reach Specified Time in Record as the trigger condition.
  • Next action available: you can continue to the trigger settings panel to configure the table and date field.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not create a blank workflow first, you may not see the trigger selection list.
  • Environment note: you need to be inside a table that supports automation.

2. Configure the trigger

Entry path: Trigger Settings panel → related dropdown lists and Save and Enable button

  1. In Select the table where the record is located, choose the target table.
  2. In Select date field, choose the date field used for the trigger.
  3. Turn on Use the time in the date field, then choose the trigger timing in Set trigger time.
  4. If needed, click + Add conditions that must also be met to add filter conditions.
  5. Click Save and Enable in the upper-right corner to finish the setup.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the workflow is saved and the trigger configuration shows as enabled.
  • Next action available: when the record date field reaches the configured time, the workflow can run based on the conditions.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: records with no value in the selected date field will not trigger this automation.
  • Environment note: fields and values used in conditions should match the field types in the target table.
