1. Turn Persistent Input Box on or off

Entry: Bottom View tab → Persistent Input Box

  1. Open a smart spreadsheet in WPS for Android and enter editing mode.
  2. Tap the bottom View tab.
  3. Find the Persistent Input Box toggle.
  4. Turn it on or off as needed.
  5. If the input box is off, double-tap a cell to bring the input box back.
  6. If you want to change it from another entry, open More at the top and go to Spreadsheet Settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: when enabled, the input box stays visible; when disabled, the input box is hidden.
  • What you can do next: continue editing the current cell or other cells directly.
  • No side effect: existing spreadsheet data is not changed by the setting itself.
