1. Insert an attachment through the Local File entry
Entry: Insert tab → Local File
- Select the cell near where you want to place the attachment.
- Click Local File on the Insert tab.
- In the pop-up window, choose the local file that you want to insert.
- Click OK to finish the insertion.
- Drag the file icon if you want to adjust its position in the worksheet.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A file icon or attachment object appears in the worksheet.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing the sheet and move the inserted object as needed.
- No side effect: Existing cell data is not cleared by inserting the file.
