1. Freeze Top Row

Entry: View > Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row

1. Open the spreadsheet that you want to review.

3. Click Freeze Panes.

1. Open the target worksheet.

3. Freeze to Active Cell

Entry: View > Freeze Panes > Freeze to Active Cell

1. Select the target cell in the worksheet first.
2. If you want to freeze the first 3 rows, select A4. If you want to keep multiple rows and columns visible, select the starting cell just below and to the right of the area you want to keep visible.
3. Click the View tab and then click Freeze Panes.
4. Select Freeze to Active Cell, or choose the related row or column freezing option shown in the interface.
5. Scroll through the worksheet and confirm that the rows above and columns to the left of the active cell remain visible.
