FAQ
What happens to existing data after I set a column type?
- Existing data is displayed and checked according to the new column type rules.
- For example, if you change a text column to a date type, values that can be recognized as dates are shown in a date format.
- Content that does not match the preset restriction stays in place and is marked as not matching the preset rule.
Where do I set the options for a dropdown list type?
- Right-click the target column header and open the Column Type submenu.
- Select the Dropdown List type.
- In the settings panel that opens, add or adjust the option values and complete the setup.
What is the purpose of setting the starting row?
- Setting the starting row controls which row the column type starts from.
- When the default is row 2, row 1 can usually stay as the header row.
- If the first few rows are used for titles, notes, or data that should not be formatted, set a later row number.
