Success Criteria

  • The current column displays according to the selected type.
  • New input in that column follows the matching display or validation behavior.

Tips While Using

  • One column can use only one column type at a time.
  • If you switch to a new type, the previous type is replaced.

Entry path: Column Type settings page → Set Start Row

  1. Open the Column Type settings page for the target column.
  2. Tap the Set Start Row input box.
  3. Check the default value of 2, which means the column type starts from row 2 and row 1 is usually used as a header row.
  4. Enter a new starting row number.
  5. The change takes effect immediately.

Success Criteria

  • The selected column type starts from the new row you entered.
  • Content before that row is not limited by the column type.

Tips While Using

  • If the first few rows are used for titles or notes, set a later start row.
  • Different columns can use different start rows as needed.

Entry path: Column floating menu → More Options → Column Type → Clear

  1. Tap the target column header to open the column floating menu.
  2. Tap More Options.
  3. Tap Column Type.
  4. Tap Clear in the upper-right corner.
  5. The column returns to a regular text column.

Success Criteria

  • The column no longer uses the previous type for validation.
  • Existing data in the column is still kept.

Tips While Using

  • Clearing a column type does not delete the data already entered.
  • If you need the rules again, set a new column type afterward.
