1. Turn on the persistent sum and count panel
Entry: View tab → Turn on persistent sum and count
- Select the cells or range that you want to calculate and count.
- Tap the View tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Turn on persistent sum and count.
- Review the summary panel at the top of the screen for sum, average, maximum, minimum, count, and numerical count.
- To close the persistent display, tap the X button on the left side of the summary panel.

- Interface result: A summary panel appears at the top of the screen.
- What you can do next: You can switch to another selection and continue reviewing updated summary values.
- No side effect: The spreadsheet content is not changed.
Tips While Using

2. Show summary results from the floating edit bar
Entry: Floating edit bar → More actions → Show sum
- Select the cells or range that you want to calculate and count to open the floating edit bar.
- Tap More actions on the floating edit bar.
- Tap Show sum.
- Review the summary panel that appears at the top of the screen.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A summary panel appears at the top of the screen.
- What you can do next: You can continue checking sum, average, and other summary values.
- No side effect: No formula is inserted, and the original data is not changed.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If no range is selected first, the related option may not appear in the floating edit bar.

3. Copy a summary result
Entry: Any summary item in the summary panel
- First display the summary panel by using either method above.
- Find the summary value you need, such as sum or average.
- Tap the corresponding summary item.
- Paste the copied result into a target cell, chat window, or note.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: After tapping a summary item, you can proceed to paste the copied value.
- What you can do next: You can reuse the copied result in another location.
- No side effect: Copying does not change the original selected data.
