1. Start sharing and set permissions

Entry: Share button in the upper-right corner of the smart spreadsheet

  1. Open the smart spreadsheet that you want to share.
  2. Click Share in the upper-right corner.
  3. In the share panel, click View/Edit with others.
  4. Click Link permissions to set the sharing scope.
  5. Choose Anyone or Specific users only as needed.
  6. Assign Edit, View and Comment, or View permission.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the share panel opens and shows sharing scope and permission options.
  • Next action available: you can continue by copying the link or sending it to collaborators.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: sending the link before checking permissions may give recipients the wrong access level.

Entry: Share panel → Copy Link or sharing icons

3. Share a selected range

Entry: Select range → right-click → Share Selected Range

  1. Select the cell range that you want to share in the spreadsheet.
  2. Right-click the selected range.
  3. Choose Share Selected Range.
  4. In the settings panel, configure the sharing scope and permissions.
  5. Send the generated sharing entry to the recipient.
