1. Turn on sharing and set permissions
Entry: Share button in the upper-right corner of the spreadsheet
- Click the Share button in the upper-right corner of the spreadsheet.
- In the Share panel, click View/Edit with others.
- Click Link permissions to set the sharing scope.
- Select Anyone or Specified users only.
- Assign Edit, View and Comment, or View permission.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the Share panel shows the current link scope and access permission.
- Next action available: you can copy the link or send it to collaborators.

2. Send a share link in different ways
Entry: Copy Link or the share icons in the Share panel
- Complete the permission settings first.
- Click Copy Link to copy the current share link.
- Or click the WeChat, collaboration, or QR code icon below to share directly.
- Send the link or QR code to the people who need access.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the link is copied successfully, or the selected share method opens.
- Next action available: recipients can access the shared content through the link or QR code.

- Common mistake: copying the link without checking permissions may leave recipients with view-only access.

3. Share a selected range
Entry: right-click menu after selecting cells, then choose Share Selection
- Select the cell range that you want to share.
- Right-click the selected range and choose Share Selection.
- Set the sharing scope and permission.
- Send the generated share entry to the recipient.
- The recipient can open it and jump to the shared range more quickly.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a share entry for the selected range is created.
- Next action available: recipients can open the shared content and go to the target range.
