Entry: “+” button on the right side of the header → “Field Type” drop-down list → “Hyperlink”

  1. Open the target smart table.
  2. Click the “+” button on the right side of the table header.
  3. Select “Hyperlink” from the field type list.
  4. Enter a field name.
  5. Click “OK” to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new hyperlink field column appears in the table.
  • What you can do next: you can start entering link content in cells under that field.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the wrong table is active, the field may be added in an unintended place.
  • Environment note: you need edit permission for the current smart table.

Entry: target cell → enter the link address

  1. Click the target cell in the hyperlink field.
  2. Enter the destination address and display text.
  3. Press Enter (↩) to confirm.
  4. Check whether the cell now shows a clickable link.

  • What you can do next: click the cell to open the linked destination.

3. Adjust Field Settings

Entry: right-click the field title → “Field Settings”

  1. Right-click the title of the target hyperlink field.
  2. Select “Field Settings.”
  3. Find the display style option in the settings panel.
  4. Choose “Display as Hyperlink” or “Display as Button.”
  5. Click “OK” to save the change.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: field content appears in the selected style.
  • What you can do next: existing and future links can follow the same display style.
