Why can’t I find the Date field option?

  1. Make sure you are working in a Smart Table data table instead of a regular document page.
  2. Check whether you are in the table header area and click the + button on the right side of the header.
  3. If the option still does not appear, confirm that you have permission to edit fields in the current data table.

Can a Date field show both date and time?

  1. Right-click the Date field title.
  2. Open Field Settings.
  3. In the date format area, enable Show time.
  4. Return to the cell and re-enter the value or check the existing display result.

How do I automatically fill today’s date for new records?

  1. Right-click the Date field title and open Field Settings.
  2. Find the Default Value option.
  3. Select The date this record is added.
  4. Add a new record and confirm that the field fills in the current date automatically.
