1. Add a Creator field

Entry path: Tap the table header → Edit → Field Type → Creator

1. Tap the table header.
2. In the floating toolbar, select Edit.
3. In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
4. Select the Creator field.
5. Set the field name, then confirm to finish.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: A new Creator field column appears in the data table.
• Next action available: You can add records and check the auto-filled result in this field.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If you do not enter header editing first, the field type option may not appear.
• Environment note: You need permission to edit fields in the current data table.

2. Auto-fill the creator

Entry path: Add a new record in a table that already contains the Creator field

1. Add a new record in a data table that already includes the Creator field.
2. WPS automatically fills the current user name into the Creator field.
3. Check the field value after the record is created.
4. The value cannot be edited manually.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The Creator field in the new row shows the current user name.
• Next action available: You can continue filling other fields and save the record.
• No side effect: You do not need to choose or type creator information manually.
