1. Create a Contacts field
Entry: Tap the table header → Edit → Field Type → Contacts
- Tap the target table header.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
- In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
- Select Contacts.
- Configure the field rules as needed, including Allow multiple contacts and Allow notifications for newly inserted contacts.
- Enter the field name.
- Tap Done in the upper-right corner to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Contacts field column appears in the table.
- Next action available: You can continue adding contacts to records in this field.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter header editing first, you cannot change the field type.
- Environment note: If you want to send notifications, keep the network connection available.
2. Add contacts
Entry: Tap the target cell → Contacts field → Select contacts
- Tap the target cell to open record details.
- Tap the Contacts field.
- Search for or select contacts in the WPS address book page.
- Tap Done in the lower-right corner to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected contacts appear in the Contacts field for the current record.
- Next action available: You can add more contacts or return to the table to review the record.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you open record details but do not tap the Contacts field, the address book selection page will not open.
- Environment note: Keep the network connection available when opening the address book or searching for contacts.
