How-to Guide

1. Create a Contacts field

Entry: Tap the table header → EditField TypeContacts

  1. Tap the target table header.
  2. In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
  3. In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
  4. Select Contacts.
  5. Configure the field rules as needed, including Allow multiple contacts and Allow notifications for newly inserted contacts.
  6. Enter the field name.
  7. Tap Done in the upper-right corner to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new Contacts field column appears in the table.
  • Next action available: You can continue adding contacts to records in this field.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not enter header editing first, you cannot change the field type.
  • Environment note: If you want to send notifications, keep the network connection available.

2. Add contacts

Entry: Tap the target cell → Contacts field → Select contacts

  1. Tap the target cell to open record details.
  2. Tap the Contacts field.
  3. Search for or select contacts in the WPS address book page.
  4. Tap Done in the lower-right corner to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected contacts appear in the Contacts field for the current record.
  • Next action available: You can add more contacts or return to the table to review the record.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you open record details but do not tap the Contacts field, the address book selection page will not open.
  • Environment note: Keep the network connection available when opening the address book or searching for contacts.
