Last updated:July 20, 2026

When using Add/Delete Record, the most common questions are about undo options, clear scope, and default insert position; here are 3 common answers and practical steps.

FAQ

Can I undo a record after adding it?

  1. If no dedicated undo instruction is available for this action, locate the record you just added.
  2. Select the row number on the left side of that record to open the floating toolbar.
  3. Tap Delete to remove the newly added record.

Does Clear remove everything in the record?

  1. Select the record you want to process and tap Clear.
  2. Review the field content in the current record.
  3. If the record contains system-filled content, that part is not cleared.

Where is a new record added by default?

  1. Use Add Record in the bottom toolbar to create a new record.
  2. After the action is complete, check the end of the data table.
  3. A new record is appended to the end of the table by default. If you need another position, use Insert a Record or later sorting and grouping tools.
