How-to Index

How-to Guide

1. Add a table component to a dashboard

Entry: Dashboard interface → "+ Add Component" → View → "Table"

  1. Open the dashboard interface and click "+ Add Component" in the upper-left area.
  2. In the component panel, find the "Table" icon under the View category.
  3. Click "Table" to create a default table component automatically.
  4. Select the new component to enter editing mode and continue with configuration.

Success Criteria

  • A new table component appears in the dashboard.
  • The component can be selected for further configuration.

Tips While Using

  • The inserted component is a default table, so you will usually need to configure its data next.
  • If the current dashboard has no available data, the table may appear empty after insertion.

2. Edit or delete a table component

Entry: Select an existing table component → top-right "..." icon

  1. Select the table component that has already been added to the dashboard.
  2. Click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner of the component.
  3. Select "Configure" to adjust the table data or display settings again.
  4. Select "Duplicate" to create a copy of the current table component.
  5. Select "Delete" to remove the current table component.

Success Criteria

  • The component action menu opens successfully.
  • The selected action takes effect, such as opening configuration, creating a copy, or removing the component.

Tips While Using

  • Deleting removes the current component, so confirm that you no longer need it before proceeding.
  • After duplicating a component, it is helpful to give each one a clear purpose to avoid repeated content.

3. Configure table component settings

Entry: Table configuration panel

  1. Open the configuration panel for the table component.
  2. Under "Data Source," select the data table you want to use.
  3. Under "Record Filter," set the conditions for the records you want to display.
  4. Under "Field Settings," choose which fields should appear in the table.
  5. Under "Sort," set the order for the displayed data.
  6. Under "Group," set how the data should be grouped.
  7. Under "Row Height," choose the display style that fits your layout.
  8. Review the result in the preview pane and click "OK" to apply the settings.

Success Criteria

  • The preview area shows the updated table result.
  • After you click "OK," the dashboard table component displays the new settings.

Tips While Using

  • Too many visible fields can reduce readability, so keep the most important ones first.
  • For large data sets, combine filters and grouping to narrow the displayed range.
