1. Create a Funnel Chart

Entry: Dashboard view → + Add Component → Chart → Funnel Chart

  1. Open the dashboard view.
  2. Click + Add Component in the upper-left area.
  3. In the component panel, find Funnel Chart under Chart.
  4. Click Funnel Chart to insert a default chart component.
  5. Select the new chart to enter editing mode.

Success Criteria

  • A new funnel chart component appears in the dashboard.
  • You can continue to configure data and style settings.

Tips While Using

  • A common mistake is looking outside the Chart category and missing the Funnel Chart entry.

2. Edit or Export a Chart

Entry: Select an existing chart → top-right ... menu

  1. Click the funnel chart that has already been added.
  2. Click the ... icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete as needed.
  4. Return to the dashboard and review the result.

Success Criteria

  • The menu opens correctly and the selected command runs.
  • The chart can be reconfigured, copied, exported, or removed.

Tips While Using

  • If the chart is not selected first, the menu may not be easy to access.
  • Before exporting or copying as an image, confirm that the chart already shows the final data and style you want.

3. Set Type and Data

Entry: Funnel Chart editing panel → Type and Data tab

  1. Open the funnel chart editing panel.
  2. Switch to the Type and Data tab.
  3. Select the data source you want to use.
  4. Click Data Filter to set the data range or filter conditions.
  5. Configure Type, Funnel Level, and Value as needed.
  6. Choose whether detail fields should be shown.
  7. Review the preview on the left, then click OK.

Success Criteria

  • The preview updates when you change the settings.
  • After you click OK, the chart displays the selected data setup.

Tips While Using

  • If funnel levels or values are chosen incorrectly, the chart may not reflect the intended process clearly.

4. Set Chart Style

Entry: Funnel Chart editing panel → Chart Style tab

  1. Open the funnel chart editing panel.
  2. Switch to the Chart Style tab.
  3. Choose a preset scheme under Theme Color.
  4. Expand Funnel Color to adjust colors for each data series.
  5. Expand Chart Elements to set label content, conversion layer labels, font, and font size.
  6. Review the preview, then click OK.

Success Criteria

  • Chart colors, labels, and font styles update based on your settings.
  • You can continue to export the chart or return to the dashboard for presentation.

  • Too many colors or dense labels can reduce readability.
