1. Create a Paragraph Link
Entry point: Hover over a paragraph → ⋮⋮ toolbar → Copy Paragraph Link
- Open the smart document that you want to edit.
- Hover over the paragraph that you want to link to.
- Wait for the ⋮⋮ toolbar to appear next to the paragraph.
- Click ⋮⋮ and select Copy Paragraph Link.
- Paste the link where you want to reference that paragraph.
Success Criteria
- A usable paragraph link has been copied.
- After you paste the link into the document, you can see clickable link text or a link address.
Tips While Using
- The related toolbar appears only after you hover over the target paragraph.
- A paragraph link is intended for navigation inside the current document, not for jumping to another document.
2. Use a Paragraph Link
Entry point: Click a paragraph link in the document
- Find the paragraph link that has already been inserted in the document.
- Click the link.
- Wait for the page to scroll to the target paragraph automatically.
- Confirm that the target paragraph is highlighted.
Success Criteria
- The page jumps to the target paragraph location automatically.
- The target paragraph is highlighted so the jump result is easy to confirm.
Tips While Using
- If the target paragraph has been deleted, the original link may no longer point to the same location.
- In long documents, clear link text makes the jump target easier to recognize.
3. Edit Link Text
Entry point: Select an existing paragraph link → floating toolbar → Edit
- Find the paragraph link that has already been created in the document.
- Move the pointer over the link to show the floating toolbar.
- Click Edit.
- Change the displayed link text.
- Click the link again to confirm that the jump still works.
Success Criteria
- The displayed link text has been updated.
- After the text is changed, the link still jumps to the original target paragraph.
Tips While Using
- Editing the displayed text does not change the original jump target.
- Use text that reflects the paragraph content so the link is easier to understand later.
