1. Type @ in a document to open contacts

Entry: Open a Smart Document → enter editing mode → type @

  1. Open the Smart Document that you want to edit on your Android device.
  2. Tap the document area to enter editing mode.
  3. Type the @ symbol where you want to notify someone.
  4. Wait for the contact list or picker to appear.

Entry: Contact list → search box or direct selection

  3. Select the target contact to insert the mention at the current position.

  2. Confirm that the mentioned person and the surrounding text are correct.
  3. Finish editing and wait for the document to sync.
  4. The mentioned collaborator will receive a related reminder.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the mention remains in the document content.
  • Next action available: other collaborators can continue reviewing, replying, or editing around that content.

Tips While Using

  • Add a short and clear instruction after the mention so the other person can understand what needs attention.
  • If the network is unstable, reminder delivery may be delayed.

4. Check permissions and notification results

Entry: Collaboration status → member access permissions → notification result

  1. Confirm that the document is shared for collaboration and that the target member has access.
  2. Check whether the mentioned person is already included in the collaborator scope.
  3. Ask the other person to check the message center or app notifications.
  4. If no reminder arrives, review the network connection, account status, and document permission settings.
