Why can't I find the Add Shortcut entry?

  1. Make sure the current file is a Smart Document.
  2. Open the top-left File menu and go to Document Management.
  3. Check whether you are signed in and whether the current document supports this entry.

Why can't I open the linked document after adding a shortcut?

  1. Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
  2. Check whether the target cloud document still exists and whether your account has permission to open it.
  3. Go back to the shortcut location and click it again to test the link.

Does a shortcut move or copy the original document?

  1. No. It does not move the original document itself.
  2. A shortcut creates an access entry between the current document and the target cloud document.
  3. If you need a different location, add the shortcut again and choose another save path.
