1. Insert a date from the toolbar

Entry path: Edit in the lower-right corner → + on the bottom toolbar → Date

  1. Open a smart document and tap Edit in the lower-right corner.
  2. Tap the paragraph position where you want to add the date.
  3. Tap the + icon on the bottom toolbar.
  4. Tap Date.
  5. Confirm the date content and save the insertion.

Success Criteria

  • A date appears at the current cursor position.
  • You can continue editing the document normally.

Tips While Using

  • Enter editing mode first, or the bottom toolbar may not appear.
  • Place the cursor in the target paragraph before inserting the date.

2. Choose a specific date when inserting

Entry path: Edit in the lower-right corner → + on the bottom toolbar → Date

  1. Open a smart document and enter editing mode.
  2. Place the cursor where you want to insert the date.
  3. Tap + and then tap Date.
  4. In the date picker, choose the specific date you need.
  5. Save to complete the insertion.

Success Criteria

  • The document shows the selected date instead of an empty placeholder.
  • You can tap the inserted date again to review or adjust it.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm the insertion position before choosing the date.
  • If you need to change it later, tap the inserted date element again.

3. Add a specific time when inserting a date

Entry path: Edit in the lower-right corner → + on the bottom toolbar → Date

  1. Open a smart document and enter editing mode.
  2. Tap the target paragraph position.
  3. Tap + on the bottom toolbar, then tap Date.
  4. Turn on the Set Time option in the date panel.
  5. Choose the time and save.

Success Criteria

  • The inserted result includes both date information and a time value.
  • The displayed time matches your selection.

Tips While Using

  • If you only need the date, leave the time option off.
  • Time is useful for more detailed records such as meeting start times or confirmation times.
